Usually you can spot a good dumpling spot by a few landmarks: * questionable service * hole in the wall location * ma and pop shop feel * yelp rating of 3.5-4 with mixed reviews mentioning the rudeness of staff Aside from the non-existent service and limited parking, Dumpling Capital offers a large selection of not only dumplings but many other Chinese staples from chow fun, fried tofu, lamb stir fry and so much more. The selection is fantastic- in fact, you'll want to bring more people so you can try more options however the restaurant itself isn't too big. Smaller parties of 6 and 4 and recommended here. Parking lot is small and tight with maybe 10 open spots. Some spots are reserved for other businesses so check where you park. There is also street parking close by near the residential townhomes. You can scan the QR code to order or use the physical menu. Service is pretty much the servers dropping off food at your table. * Golden tofu - 5/5 It could be crispier but the seasoning was delicious. The tofu was lightly fried with a nice airy interior. Each bite was flavorful and savory. * pea sprouts - 5/5 I love ordering this at every Chinese restaurant. These pea sprouts were garlicky, succulent and tender. This is a staple item to every chinese dinner. * spicy chives and pork dumpling- 5/5 I really like dumpling skin, its a bit thick but I like the texture being so chewy. The pork flavor was sweet and meaty. Flavor and textures were all great. I guess for 6 people they include 18% tip which is pretty crazy considering theres really no service being provided. The server angrily said "no tip??" when we clicked the no tip option on the POS screen even though the 18% was already included. So you have been warned. Aside from the service, the food is pretty solid here. I would say most of the items we ordered were above average in quality and the prices were pretty reasonable for a Chinese restaurant. So long story short: come for the great dumplings but don't expect friendly kind service.

Delicious! I love dumplings and always am on the lookout for a new place to try. This place is authentic and checks all of the boxes for traditional authentic flavor and texture. The sauces are basic (soy sauce, vinegar, chili paste, and spicy sauce mixed with the dumplings. Will definitely come back to try some of their other dishes (noodles, beef, chicken, veggie and seafood).

Last review was for the frozen dumplings. We have eaten here on 2 separate occasions and finally perfected our order: Garlic green beans - omg so delicious, great flavor. The bits of onion and garlic taste so good with the dumplings and other things we ordered. Pork and chive dumpling - can't go wrong with a classic order. Black bean noodle - delicious but not the same chewy noodles we were hoping for like jajangmyeon. Yes I know the Chinese one is the original. I just love chewy noodles. Golden tofu - our go-to order, it's so addicting, light and crispy!! I wish they served this with a sweet and sour sauce. Spicy chili wonton - delicious, we've ordered this twice. Beef pancake roll - the beef is so flavorful albeit on the sweeter side compared to Liang's village which is our fave place for this dish. Cucumber salad - good to cut the grease. We prefer the ones without the boiled peanuts. Overall ordering is straight forward on your phone and no matter how much we order, we never seem to have any leftovers LOL. It's a gem for sure!

This place has everything on their menu. They have dimsum, clay pots, rice plates, noodles, soup and more. This rating is mostly for their dumplings. Good Sichuan Spicy Pork and Shrimp Wonton. It's their version of Hot Chili Oil Wonton. The wontons were really good. Very tasty pork filling in thin wonton wrappers. Wontons were sitting in spicy chili oil with a lot more kick than I'm used to but it was still yummy. I like the sprinkle of sesame seeds and cilantro on top. They both gave the dish another layer of flavor. The XLB/Crab Meat Soup Dumplings were also good. Not too soupy but the filling was well seasoned. And the proportion of the wrapper and filling was good. Did not skimp on the filling, wrapper was not too thick. Same with the Pan Fried Dumplings. Good meat filling wrapper ratio. Umami flavor from the filling and slightly sweet flavor from the soft steamed dough wrapper. The pork and shrimp wonton noodle soup was just ok. I chose the handmade noodles over the hand cut noodles. It reminded me of spaghetti noodles. The broth was kind of bland. Got better after I added soy sauce and pepper. The wontons were really good though. Seems like the same wontons in the Sichuan Spicy Wontons. Reasonably priced. Food came out quick. You can place your order through the QR code or with the staff who was ready to help. Small place. Dumplings are their specialty just like the name of the restaurant suggests.

Dumpling Capital was pretty solid when we wanted dim sum for dinner! It was pretty easy to order the food online and then pick up. There's many options for dim sum and Chinese dishes. I think overall it only took 20 minutes for our order to be ready. The soup dumplings and fried dumplings were delicious. The pea shoots were really lovely and flavorful. We really enjoyed all the dishes we ordered.
